Ian MacKenzie is Sean’s longtime friend and filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC. He has a background in video journalism, and has produced a number of segments dealing with topics as diverse as eco-consumerism, peak oil, and music culture.

In 2009, he worked on Word Travels, a travel reality series airing on OLN, CityTV, and National Geographic. Ian has also created a variety of online projects including Let Me On Survivor and the spiritual travel magazine Brave New Traveler.

Heather Hawthorn-Doyle is the Executive Producer and Head of Omni Life, a division of Omni Film Productions Ltd. An experienced award-winning producer/director, Heather has been responsible for thousands of hours of programming including producing CBC’s Make Some Noise (winner of the $50,000 Shaw Rocket Prize, the Gemini for Best Youth Series, the internationally acclaimed NHK Japan Prize and was short listed for the Prix Jeunesse).

For over 9 years, Jessica has cut a reputation for herself in Documentary, Music, Lifestyle, and Drama editing, creating ground breaking TV and Films. She is known as a collaborative and creative force in the edit suite who brings an objective eye to the task.

With her superb storytelling and problem solving skills this one-of-a-kind editor works tirelessly to ensure every project she puts her name to is the best it can possibly be.

Caroline Manuel – Music Supervisor

Caroline Manuel’s involvement in all things music started early. With four big brothers all boasting extensive music collections Caroline was regularly subjected to random LP pop quizzes-an incorrect answer resulted in all kinds of cruel and unusual punishments.

For the past few years Caroline has had the great pleasure of sourcing and securing music from Canada and abroad for all three seasons of the 40 part docu-drama Word Travels airing on Nat Geo Adventure, OLN and Citytv.

BC-born, Idaho raised, and Vancouver residing artist Amanda McCuaig has been illustrating and designing for more than 10 years. Her watercolour paintings can be found across Canada and the Pacific Northwest, including Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Portland, and Spokane. Raphael Choi – Sound Designer

Raphael Choi is a sound designer and music composer based in Vancouver, BC. He graduated from Emily Carr University in 2008, with a bachelor’s degree in Film, Video + Integrated Media. Afterwards, he attended Vancouver Film School’s sound design program. Since then, he’s worked on a number of feature length documentaries and animation/dramatic shorts.

Recently in 2010, he’s received a Leo nomination for his sound editing work on NFB production, Finding Farley.

Felix Oltean – Colourist

Felix Oltean is an cinematographer and colorist who has worked in a variety of genres and mediums, including educational and corporate videos, dramatic shorts, and even a comedic feature (Sketch, which is playing at the Edmonton and Calgary international film festivals this year). He has recently completed his BFA in film production at the Simon Fraser School for the Contemporary Arts.
