One Week Job India is a project in which Jubanashwa Mishra from Delhi, India will work 28 jobs in 28 weeks throughout 28 states of India immersing himself in a process of re-discovering, re-defining and re-envisioning himself. Anyone, anywhere in India can offer Jubanashwa a job for one week. His wages will be donated to the NGO Goonj.

After a stereotypical Indian degree of Engineering, Jubanashwa worked for 3 years in IT giant Tata Consultancy Services. Then he did his Post grad from school of idea MICA, Ahmadabad.  After that he worked on many challenging projects ranging from digital consulting for top companies, to first time ever biggest rural brand activation through Folk theater called JATRA. He is very famous among the Indian entrepreneurship fraternity for his not so famous ventures like EZeeDictionary, FetchaKucha, EZeeDigi Communications, and International Short Film Festival Bhubaneswar.

His frequent question to himself and others is “What’s your dream”. In this One week Job project he wanted to discover his passion and try to keep all his dreams alive.

The One-Week Job Project was created in 2008 by Canadian resident and recent university graduate, Sean Aiken, who struggled to answer the question, “What should I do with my life?” Determined to discover his passion, he embarked on an epic journey throughout North America working 52 jobs in 52 weeks. Since completing his journey, Sean has published a book and produced a documentary film about the experience. He has also started One Week Job projects in Australia, USA, UK, and India, and frequently speaks at high schools, colleges, and corporations around the world about what he learned.
